What they say

What do the facilitators of Progress ConsultingTM do? It's difficult to describe. They develop trust. They develop teamwork. They raise awareness. They help us to understand the issues we face more clearly. It’s nice to know they are there. We know they can guide us. That gives us the comfort to push ourselves further than we otherwise would.

As a result, we arrive at a clearer image of the job we have to do. There’s no way in the world we would be accomplishing so much in such a short time without their help.

A. S. Meneguzzi, Chartered Accountant

Although we are highly successful and know our business best, Scott Ferguson and his colleagues at Progress ConsultingTM help us to clarify our thinking and resolve complex strategic issues quickly.

They lead the process. We develop our own solutions.

I have never seen such an effective approach to decision-making, especially involving so many people, so quickly!

These facilitators have a bias for action. A bias for implementation. A bias for results!

Everyone here is so much clearer about what we’re trying to accomplish and so much more committed.

Norman Forma, CEO of one of North America's largest school boards

Scott Ferguson asked me to describe his work. It is rare that one is given a task that is at once vital to the individual concerned, a pleasure to perform and simple to execute.

Scott Ferguson was engaged merely to be the facilitator of our two-year national education re-engineering task force. However, his contribution was much greater than that. His knowledge of, and belief in, the values central to our Chartered Accountancy (CA) profession were key to his ability to interpret the views, ideas, body language and utterances of our group.

His work ethic and clarity in processing and transforming (often overnight!) our ideas into succinct summaries and strategic reports during the course of two and three day meetings spoke louder than words of his professionalism and grasp of our mandate and profession.

Based on his performance with this task force, I joined my colleagues in unhesitantly recommending that we approach Scott Ferguson and Progress ConsultingTM and assign them the task of defining and delineating a Competency Map to be the basis of all post-secondary and graduate-level CA learning and assessment in the future. Such a task could only be done with such a sound knowledge of our profession, a dedication to the future and a work ethic to carry it through. Scott Ferguson is such a person.
